fact has bad anxiety. he usually manages to hide it well, but has days where he can't be bothered
fact he has amazing memory, mostly using it for his paintings, and is able to remember even the smallest details for the scenes he paints

artemis grew up unable to wield aetherial manipulation the same way as his peers, instead choosing focus on his painting and magic of memory. he was the first pictomancer in ancient times.in his travels across the star he chooses to paint what he sees in sketchbooks instead of recording them in crystals. journaling his travels, writing his conversations with the residents. his sketchbooks are full of vivid paintings, his view of the world whimsical and beautiful. despite his childish nature, he loves the star with all of his heart and takes his responsibilities very seriously. doing anything to protect it, even from those he loves.even sundered, he travels to record what he finds intriguing and beautiful, and is always carrying art supplies so he can sit where he pleases to sketch the sights he sees. even if his companions get annoyed when he stops randomly.

the m tribe was once so large that it spanned most of the fringes. however, they suffered a loss when the garlean empire came and conquered the lands. the tribe were pushed back and made their home atop the peering stones.this is where m'attano was born. a beautiful child with light green hair and piercing pink eyes. the tribe, however, had a lot of mouths to feed, and m'attano was cast out. she was not good at hunting, nor at cooking or taking care of the younger members. so she was seen as a liability rather than as asset.despite her parents letting her know that they loved her, she still developed an inferiority complex and a grudge on her so called family. she now calls gridania her home, and is an adventurer. or at least she is trying to be. trying to prove herself and gain some self worth. though her clumsiness ensures she ends up getting into trouble instead of helping others out of it.because of her rocky life and insecurities, she is incredibly easy to manipulate and control. if you show her just enough kindness she will become obsessed with you and do anything you ask. anything. even if you start being mean to her.

a true born clown from a planet with nothing but clowns. how could clowns be a race you ask? clowns have existed before many others, and have seeded themselves throughout the galaxy's worlds to ensure the concept of "clown" comes to exist naturally on every world.but unfortunately, the planet of the clowns - pajasso - no longer exists. dead and gone after a planet wide clown war, started by accident by phineas. all because he wanted to dethrone one clown king.though he succeeded, pajasso is dead and gone. represented by a small area of ultima thule and a small group of a clowndom.phineas explores the star, causing clown chaos, and feeding on the fear and laughter of those he meets. though the guilt of causing his planets death eats at him daily.

born into a norvrandt cult that worships the void and darkness. when the light pollution came they decided to manufacture their own "warrior of darkness", using necromancy and voidsent to achieve this. when matt was born she was raised to be the perfect vessel and test subject in experiments with voidsent. the process depriving her of the ambient aether needed. necromancy was used to keep her alive, but now she is attuned to dark aether and part voidsent. she is now a powerful black mage, and the cult's "perfect" warrior of darkness.the cult worshiped her like a god, and she hated it with a passion. the abuse from her parents, the constant experiments keeping her alive. the pain and the void was all too much. the calling from the void seeping into her nightmares. she snapped, losing control and killing the cult. but she could not bring himself to kill her parents. she abandoned the cult, living in the slums outside eulmore to protect them from lightwardens and sin eaters.

no one knows where this man came from. he won't talk about his past much. keeping it a secret. all he will talk about is "the mother". his goddess. the one he both worships and fears. the one he kills for. no one knows if this "mother" is his true mother, or just a title. he will never tell. keeping everything about her a secret.cicero is a highly unstable, disturbed, manipulative and sadomasochistic individual. he relishes in gruesome and depraved thoughts. he takes his time with his kills. getting to know his target, forming a one sided bond with them. tailoring their death to them for a personal touch.he enjoys mixing poisons and antidotes. from both his own saliva and various flora and fauna. he is obsessed with poison. even going so far as to taste them himself for the "high" of death.

mutual curiosity - pain in his ass

when cicero found his usual poisons too weak for his liking he decided to seek out atticus at his apothecary. not caring if it was open or not the rat burst into atticus' life like a hurricane. becoming the mans lab rat, literally. testing his poisons on the retched thing, a strange relationship blossoming from this. though perhaps relationship is the wrong word. atticus both uses and abuses the rat, and provides the sweetest aftercare for this broken creature. eager to right the wrongs of his past and figure out what ciceros deal is. while cicero is eager to annoy atticus as much as he can, pushing boundaries and using him as a plaything. perhaps atticus can teach the rat some manners, or help to heal his broken mind.

if you ask people around eulmore they'll tell you yomi was a dancer in the beehive before vauthry took an interest in her. summoned to his quarters and disappearing from the public eye. she reappeared months later, her face the same but her appearance much different. horns morphed to a broken halo, hair sickly white and crystals of light growing out out of arms, like a cracked egg. she was now a sin eater.though despite this she stayed strangely human, despite forgetting who she was before and being basically an entirely new person. she hates vauthry with a passion, and wishes nothing but pain for what he did to her. the months of slow transformation and being force fed meol.after his downfall at the hands of the warrior of light and scions she stays in eulmore, finally able to be a dancer to the public again and not just a bird in a cage for vauthry to enjoy.

fact entirely a blank slate. he remembers nothing from before becoming a voidsent.
fact while needs aether to survive he does not kill for his aether. instead he survives off "natural" aether from the flora he cultivates. he believes it is their gift for taking care of them so well.
fact the only thing he remembers from his past life is his distinct love of flowers

echo doesn't remember anything from his life before the void. before troia. his entire existence there he tended to the gardens of troia. no other voidsent choosing to bother him because who else would tend the flowers. who else would make this small corner of the void look even a fraction of how beautiful it once was before the contramemoria. a strange juxtaposition from their normal nature.upon meeting the scions on their venture to the void he offered to help them with the condition they take him to their world, so he might seen more and more beautiful flowers. he became good friends with koko, and he owes their current job as a gardener in gridania to them.despite being a voidsent he is an incredibly gentle soul. looking much more scary than he actually is. he is quiet, and soft, though could perhaps fight if he truly needed to protect himself.

a chance meeting in solution 9 bought these two together. echo there for work in the dome to try and bring life back to the soil in heritage found. eiran was initially scared of echo, though it quickly grew to curiosity when he saw how kind and gentle the man was. echo himself was amused by eirans reactions, finding them cute as he teased the other. their friendship grew rapidly, the mutual touch starvation leading to many heated moments. eventually leading to them becoming lovers, with echo being incredibly possessive of the other. echo visits often after his work finished in the dome, travelling to and from tural just to see him.
